Bio

Author, singer, songwriter, and sometimes artist, living in Port Orchard, Washington.

I have a wonderful husband who is the author/artist/comic-dude/whatever, of the comic strip “Oy” at oycomics.com. I also home-school my two boys while trying to maintain a small, clear path through the living room. When I’m not busy writing or threatening rambunctious boys with duct tape, I love to be out in my garden pampering my slowly growing number of roses or singing in Lyrica, the women’s choir I belong to.

I have always been a daydreamer and now I finally have an excuse for it. I didn’t grow up writing stories like some writers and I’ve always had a difficult relationship with journals, writing, for me, has been a somewhat recent development. I love writing for my characters, you never know exactly what they will do next or how they will get out of the latest situation you’ve cooked up for them (even if you have done a good deal of outlining).
